This is going to be Jasce's favorite read of his life, or so he thinks. I actively hate Tennessee. I hate their stupid color orange. I hate their stupid checkerboard. They have haunted my entire life. This haunting culminated last season when they beat Alabama on a last second field goal. For the WEIRDOS that like watching the greatest college football dynasty in the history of the sport lose, HERE:
Now the thing about Tennessee is that they haven't actually won a National Championship or SEC Championship in over 20 years. A huge football team with great tradition, all-time greats, and an annoyingly loud fanbase? Yeah, Arsenal. Arsenal's last Premier League title came in 2003-2004 (that's 20 years for those who struggle with math). The Emirates reminds me of Neyland from the fact that they're both just absolutely massive. And of course Arsenal and Tennessee both have 2 legendary players: Thierry Henry and Peyton Manning.
I think we have finally reached the stage where people have kind of forgotten just how good Peyton Manning was. This guy is a top 5 quarterback of all time with ease. 11,000+ yards passing and 89 touchdowns in 3 years at Tennessee. WHAT. His last season at Tennessee he was famously snubbed of a Heisman: a season in which he threw 36 TOUCHDOWNS. To this day I will not understand that.
Manning's counterpart for Arsenal would have to be Thierry Henry. This dude is a menace. Maybe the best Premier League player of all time, and essential to Arsenal's successes. I mean the guy's assist record still stands for a single Premier League season over 20 years later. That is not real. Neither was Henry, and neither was Peyton Manning.
